Adrian Marti is a Senior Consultant at cinfo in the field of international cooperation (recruitment and coaching) and Director of Elora Finance Sàrl, active in the field of sustainable investments and innovative development finance. Adrian Marti is also an active coach within the PTO with job or topsharing duos.

Adrian Marti has over 25 years of experience in international management, including 18 years overseas, mostly in transition countries. His experience spans the non-profit, government and private sectors.

Work-life balance has been a personal and professional thread for the last 20 years.

Professionally, he has coached hundreds of international managers on these topics, including the possibility of job and top sharing. This has helped managers make important decisions to adjust their careers, better know what they want, and negotiate with superiors/institutions to achieve their goals.

Privately, he has worked to support a family system in which both partners work internationally and raise three children. This revealed that a maximum 160% work schedule for both was an optimal system for the family with young children. This led to a successful four-year job share as Deputy Country Director in India for Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC). A. Marti also advised his partner on how to transform a department head position in the Swiss Foreign Ministry into a successful topsharing with her deputy that allowed her to be more present at home.

The relevance of job/topsharing will become even more important in a post-covid environment with a greater need to manage one’s career and ambitions.
